  1. According to what you're looking for...

But they can be: Turin (really underrated) Milan (who think Milan is just an industrial city forget it's more than 2,000 years old) and Venice (no need to explain why :)

I'm listing those three also because are different each other, but somebody else may also say Aosta, Como, Verona, Bologna or Parma.

  2. 1) Milano

    2) Verona

    3) Venezia

  3. Two of my favourites are Barolo and la Morra. There is nothing better than wondering around the historic centre of an old town savouring local delicacies and great cheeses.

    Another superb town is Saluzzo,

  4. I agree! Turin, Milan and Venice! Although maybe I would go to Verona instead of Milan. Depends what you're looking for.

  5. torino, milano and venezia for sure ;)

  6. when i went to italy i stayed 2 weeks in Udine. its such a beautiful city. its my favourite in italy. its so typical italian style. with like the cobble streets in the centre. its just amazing there!

also in the north id have to suggest milano, although i have never been. its just seems soo happening! and the fashion.. who can forget about that!!!!

and the 3rd town in the north that id have to suggest would be...  trieste. i went there aswell.. its really beautiful too. they all are! i went to this castle called miramare. its was right on the water and you can see across to slovenia, i was there in the evening so i could see the lights. it was really something amazing seeing another country just across the water!

well.. there my top picks for the north of italy

  7. As an Aussie living in Milano for 2 years.. depending on your intentions- Venezia - Cinque Terre(including Liguria)- Dolomites. Milano is a city of Shopping with a endless pocket and a nitelife to keep you awake and amazed for nites ahead- THATS IT.  Apart from that... in the North, you can eat your away around the yummy cheeses, hams and sip away on their bubbly to the manifiscent scenery....

    a presto...

  8. Turin, Milan and Venice are great! Also, Verona and Vicenza , with great mountains and lakes to the north and west.
