  1. It kind of depends what part of Australia you're talking about.

    Victoria, Sth Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania:

    1. Australian Rules Football

    2. Cricket

    3. Everything else

    Qld, NSW, NT:

    1. Rugby League

    2. Cricket

    3. Australian Rules / Rugby Union

    Cricket is pretty big everywhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if Australian Rules one day becomes bigger in Qld and NSW than Rugby League, but that is still some way off yet.
