I need information on the two party systems that america has had throughought its history, like democrats and republicans, or the whigs and whoever. Anything helps

Federalists and Democratic-Republicans (anti-Federalists)

Democratic Republicans (later to become Whigs) and Democrats

Republicans and Democrats

We started with Federalists and Anti-Federalists (who became Democratic Republicans), then Whigs and Democratic Republicans, and finally the Democratic Republicans became just Democrats, while the Republican Party started in the 1850s  from the remnants of the Whigs.  Hope this helps.
