What are the timing schematics on a 1987 volvo 740 gle?

cam gear dot to alignment mark [rear part ofplastic timing cover housing]

approx 11:30 position

intermediat shaft gear dot to alignment mark [rear part of t/cover hsng.]

approx 3:30 position

crankshaft gear notch in gear to mark cast into end housing.

approx 11.30 position.

note 1 most aftermarket volvo timing belts are marked [some have been marked incorrectly]

note 2 this has never happened with a genuine volvo belt [the crankshaft mark on the belt will align with crank gear notch if the engine is turned backwards a few degrees as a final assembely check.

note 3 the tensioner is inexpensive and easy to put on, just make sure that it's dowel hole is clean and it is bolted up flush to cyl head [properly clean timing area before reassembely, replacing seals as required.
