  1. This website has a map of the world, showing the areas of visibility of the eclipse: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/LEplot/LEpl...

Unfortunately, virtually the whole of the U.S.A. is in the shaded area, which means that the eclipse won't be visible.

  2. Bad news, friend.  Tomorrow's lunar eclipse will occur while the US is in daylight.  That means we won't see it, since lunar eclipses can only occur during full moons and full moons rise at sunset.

Despair not, though...it's sure to be spread all over the Internet (not as dramatic as really seeing it), and if you can wait until December 21, 2010, there will be another one visible from the US of A.

I hope that helps.  Good luck!

  3. Eclipses are pretty. But what does watching one really do except confirm for you that large objects have shadows?

  4. idk... is a lunar eclipse when the sun passes the moon or when the moon passes the sun?

there was an eclipse of some sort in Feb. I think.... it was around 3AM PT (in Cali)
