What are the toll free number listings, is 1 (858) a toll free number?

i made a call to a company thinking 1 (858) was toll free, but im not sure if it is can somebody help me out?

  1. 858 area code is located in San Diego, CA. This is definetly not a toll free number.


  2. toll free numbers include 800,888, 877, 866 so it looks like toll free numbers always start with an 8 and end in a "double" digit.
