Question:

What are the tolls heading north to PA Ren Faire from Philadelphia?

There are three tolls I have to pass:

1. taking exit 16B to merge onto I-76 W toward Valley Forge

2. exiting onto I-76 W/Pennsylvania Turnpike toward exits 312-2/Harrisburg

3. exit 266 for PA-72 toward Lancaster/Lebanon

I believe the toll for #3 is $13.50. Can anyone help me with the other two?

Do I have to pay these tolls just once, or pay both ways?

THANKS SO MUCH!

  1. You are going to pay them both ways..

You don't pay when you get on to the turnpike, the toll is determined by distance and paid on exit.  According to the TP website your toll should be around $6 each way.  As far as I know the Turnpike is the only toll you should hit.

  2. I am told just now by a Pennsylvanian that its about $15.00 each way we live in ohio

  3. Are you getting on the turnpike at Valley Forge?  If so then you will only pay the toll when you get off at exit 266 and it's $3.50.

check out this website- if that's not where you're getting on you can type in your actual starting point.

    http://www.paturnpike.com/toll/tollmilea...

Then of course you will pay (the same amount) on the way home too.

  4. Lisa J has it right.  It's under $5 even if you get on at 351 (Philadelphia).  It's only $7 out to Carlisle (266) from Willow Grove (343).
