  1. Go to Berthillon on Ile de la Cité and have the best sorbets and icecreams of France

Go to Angelina, rue de Rivoli and drink the best chocolates of France

Have a time of rest with a Romantic walk behind the Palais du Luxembourg - Quartier Latin - Panthéon

Buy great old pictures, posters, books at the bouquinistes along the river Seine

Find a really great place to eat at least once a good expensive french meal - my fav is Thoumieux - rue Saint Dominique - the real french style - not the horror of La Tour d'Argent, where all japanese eating will bring you to ask yourself where you are .

  2. 1-shopping

3-make friend (nice blond boys :D)

    4-make much photos

  4. You must visit the Notre Dame Cathedral.  It is absolutely breathtaking.  My husband & I went on Saturday evening during mass.  Also, go to the Louvre & the Musee d'Orsay.  Beautiful artwork.  The Moulin Rouge is a real treat, but very pricey!  For 2 tickets and a ride there & back, we paid $400.00.  Pizza Pino's is a really great Italian restaurant on the Champs Elysees.  Order the quatre fromage (4 cheese) pizza.  Whatever restaurant you go in, order creme brulee for dessert.  Yum!!!

  5. 1. See the city at night (top of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe, the hill Sacre Coeur sits on.)

    2. See Notre Dame at sunset. If you walk along the Seine away from Notre Dame in the opposite direction from the Eiffel Tower, you can stand on several different bridges and have an amazing sunset view of the Seine and the back of Notre Dame.

    3. See street performers. A good area for this is around Notre Dame, or in some places along the Seine (which is a really pretty walk at night anyway). People should be able to tell you where the street performers will be.

    4. Eat at a sit-down resturant. We only did this once, because it's expensive, but it was well worth it. Also, have some ice cream. Very yummy.

    5. Get completely lost in the area near Sacre Coeur. There were SO many amazing little shops and alleys, and you're high enough that you can see some of Paris below you.

  6. Not in order-

    1. Eiffel Tower

    2. Louvre (you will not be able to see the whole thing unless you have at least a couple weeks, focus on seeing the Mona Lisa, Venus, and WInged Victory if you aren't sure)

    3. Montmarte

    4. Arc

    5. Just walk around, shop, eat... ENJOY  (maybe do a river cruise)

  7. well when i lived in france ...

the day i got there i would have said ...

  8. When I went to Paris I did these things:

    1. went to the Arc de triomph and strolled the Champs Elysses down to Place de la Concorde

    2. Went to the Louvre - amazing

    3. Went to the Eiffel Tower - once at night and once during the day - it's good to see it at both times

    4. Musee d'Orsay

    5. the palace of Versailles

    6. Notre Dame

    7. Sacre Cour

    8. Went for a cruise along the Seine which was great

    9. went to euro Disney

    10. Les Invalides

Excuse the spelling of these. We had such an amazing time doing everything, I highly recommend it!

  9. @  Stephane m, sorry, Berthillon is not in "Ile de la Cité" but in "Ile St Louis", 31, rue St Louis en l'île 75004 Paris, yes, he makes the best sorbet in the world ! You can go walking from the Museum "IMA" where we can see a wonderful exhibition "Les Phéniciens", history about Mediterranee Sea there are 3000 years ago.

    1- Eiffel Tower

    2- Notre Dame Cathedral

    3- Louvre Museum

    4 -Orsay Museum

    5- Versailles

boat-river on the Seine (bateaux mouches), and walking : Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, St Germain des Prés (the most good atmosphere), Invalides, Panthéon, etc,bus are easy with a free map given in Métro, Cityrama(doubledecker Red bus). If you have time, Avenue Montaigne (like the 5th Avenue) wonderful shops, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Prada, Ferragamo, Cartier,Chanel,  always if you have time, Place Vendôme and its famous jewelleries, rue de la Paix.

Restaurants : Michelin Guide is necessary, your choice is depending of your budget, in St Germain des Prés, in a very small street (rue des Canettes), btw Bd St Germain and St Sulpice Church,  you have many italian restaurants, very good pizzas, I don't agree with Pizza Pino, is the worst of a pizza, us, parisianer never we are going  to a Champs Elysees's restaurants, only for tourists, Welcome in Paris, have fun !
