i can't decide on what used car to buy, with gas prices the way they are, I want the best gas mileage I can get

depends how much you want to spend. You could get Used Civic Hybrid

If you can afford a Hybrid buy one. If not buy a Corolla or Civic. Any year, they are the best fuel economy.

Unless you can afford hybrid like prius, I'd look into civic or corolla.
