Our company is doing research right now to find out why in our management positions our turn over rate is increasing when we haven't made any significant negative changes to our wage scale or compensation package.

What issues would be best for us to investigate?

  1. upper management can be an issue with things like that. see if the managers are willing to talk about the upper management off the record to get some true insight on how they treat the employees. also lack of training can be an issue or not enough training; without successful leadership skills managing employees can be intimidating.

  2. I worked for a company that had a huge turn over rate.  The reason was the owners of the company.  They were great in the interview, telling how wonderful their company was, but once hired they were terrible to the employees.  Very angry people.  But they didn't seem to care because they would just hire someone else to take the job.  I always said their logo should be a revolving door.

  3. work load, and possibly upper management, and maybe you need to increase pay or offer incentive bonuses
