  2. I just got back from Paris last week.  You dont need to take a taxi.  The metro is super convienient and easy to use.  Just buy a day pass or a couple days however long you are gonna be there.

My favorite place was the eiffel tower.  Just to look at it was free.  If you go up, it depends on which level.  3 levels.  If you are on a budget then you can go cheaper but have to walk up a ton of stairs.

Also the Arc De Triomphe is free to see.  Its along the Champs Elysees  so that in itself is a nice walk.  To go up you have to pay like 7 euros.

The Louvre is amazing and only cost 9 euros or so.  And the metro stops right there.

    Musee Dorsay was nice.

    The Centre Pompidu

    Notre Dame

bateau mouche river cruise is onkly 9 euro and it shows you everything on the seine river for 75 minutes.

The Cite... ille St Louis is good for walking.  Free to walk around there.

St. Germaine is a cool street to wander.

St Chapelle is beautiful.  It has the Oldest Windows in Paris

Tons more but cant remember them ... hope that helps

  3. 1. Eiffel tower - It costs nothing to see although there is a fee to go up into the tower.

    2. Arc de Triomphe - It costs nothing to see but again there is a fee to take an elevator to the top.

    3. Notre-Dame Cathedral - This is a working church and entry is free. There is however a charge to climb up the bell tower or to view the Cathedral museum.

    4. Basilique du Sacre-Coeur - Entry is free

    5. Louvre Myseum - basic admission cost is € 9.00

    6. Musee D'Orsay - basic admission is € 7.50

    7. Centre Pompidou - basic admission is € 10.00

    8. Champs-Elysees - a public street

    9. Saint Chapelle -  admission is € 5.50

    10. Catacombs -  admission is  Ã¢Â‚¬ 7.00

I have no idea what you mean by "taxi cost" since you give no clue whatever to where you will be starting from.

In any case, all these sites can be reached by public transport which is far more reasonable in cost.
