I am not completely certain that I understand what you mean by "topics".

Some of the objective comparisons that you might make in your experiment are: comparing the starting and popped total masses for each brand's popcorn to determine if there are any differences (%-wise +/-) between the different brands; comparing the popped volume of each brand; comparing how fast each brand pops all of the same number of kernels; and comparing how much energy must be expended to pop each brand.  A subjective comparison would be to obtain taste ratings from a group of people.
