I am planning to visit Leeds for a couple of days: what ideas could people provide me when I arrive at the area? This would include museums, galleries, attractions and so on, especially those which are near the city centre (no comments about how tacky the area is please!).

  1. yea i live in sheffiled kinda near leeds ive been a few times there is a few mueums and stuff there

  2. there are a lot of things to do in leeds like nighclubs or the royal armouries which is a wa museum

  3. In the city centre, the Royal Armouries and City Art Gallery is really good. Also, there is a new City Museum which is open in town but I haven't been there yet.

Leeds is famously good for shopping and has lots of designer places and Victorian arcades, if that's your thing.

Outside of town a little bit is Tropical World and Roundhay Park, which I love! You could also go to Kirstall Abbey, Temple Newsam or Harewood House, which are in fantastic Yorkshire countryside.

If you are coming in by train there is a huge and very helpful tourist information centre in the station who will help you out with anything.

    Have fun! Hx

  4. Leeds is a really nice place to go there is everything from millions of shops to massive nightclubs. Leeds is sometimes called the 'nightlife capital of the UK'. It is also a massive city

  5. Have a look at day trip finder on Enjoy England's website. There are loads of things to do within 3 miles of the city centre -

    Enjoy your visit!
