  1. Cro-Magnons were robustly built and powerful and are presumed to have been about 166 to 171 cm (about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches) tall. The body was generally heavy and solid, apparently with strong musculature. The forehead was straight, with slight browridges, and the face short and wide. Cro-Magnons were the first humans (genus Homo) to have a prominent chin. The brain capacity was about 1,600 cc (100 cubic inches), somewhat larger than the average for modern humans. It is thought that Cro-Magnons were probably fairly tall compared with other early human species.

  2. Watch Monday Night Football.  Or check out a frat party at your local university.

  3. looks kind of like you!

  4. short, not very smart

  5. they have big foreheads.

  6. It was physically a modern human.

  7. Cro-magnon man is the term to refer to the first generations of the H0mo sapiens sapiens subspecies, or "us".  The previous subspecies was H0mo sapiens neandertalensis or Neanderthals.

The biggest difference between the two subspecies is the H. sapiens sapiens skull is smaller and more compact and the face is much less elongated than the Neanderthal; the modern human skull has a higher forehead, less prominent brow-ridges and smaller teeth. Modern humans are typically much less robust in body form and skeleton than Neanderthals.
