  1. This is a fantastic website I came across showing you exactly what's involved in listing items,  take a look:  http://ebayingtoearnmoney.blogspot.com/

  2. PROS: your product will reach A LOT of prospective buyers. You can check and see how any people have viewed your item for sale and how many people are "watching it". First month on starting eBay store is free. They also randomly have promotions like free insertion fee day. I have never not sold anything I listed! Relisting is free if your item sells the 2nd time around! They are teamed up with PayPal and PayPal is the safest way to send money on the internet in my opinion, they will protect you. Feedback is an awesome help to tell you what kind of buyer or seller you are.

CONS:Expensive! Ebay charges insertion fees and also takes at least 8.7% of the final value of what the item sells for. You don't have to have an eBay store but they do start at $16 a month. Paypal also takes a small percentage after you sell 5 items. eBay just recently changed their feedback options so if you are a seller you can only leave positive feedback unlike buyers who can leave you negative, positive or neutral feedback. Which I think is totally unfair!

    Hope that helped...
