  1. eukaryotic- meaning true nucleus- is the class of cells in Protists, fungi, Plants and animals- They have membrane bound organelles like nuclei and mitochondria.

    Prokaryotic- meaning no nucleus- is the class of cells in Archaebacteria and Eubacteria. They have a nucleoid rather than a nucleus and ribosomes scattered in the cytoplasm
