  1. Mercury,Venus,Earth and Mars are classified as 'inner terrestial',or 'rocky', planets. They are made mainly of  rock and metal, have solid surfaces and  rotate slowly.

Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune are classified as 'outer gas giants'.they have deep atmospheres of mainly hydrogen and helium and they rotate quickly.

  2. terrestrial and jovian

strangely, this may not be a hard and fast rule for stellar system planet formation.

  3. Gaseous and rocky.

  4. terrrestrial small with a density higher than 5 and gaseous with density much lower

  5. The inner, terrestrial, or rocky planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) and the outer, gaseous, or gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune).
