What are the types of thrust reverser used in the aircraft engine?

i have seen the images of types of thrust reverser used in the aircraft...but i don't know the names.....please let me know

  1. There are three major types for jet engines. The Bucket, clamshell, and bypass types. The most common type is the bypass type. This is used on most airliners today. An airliner's turbofan engine is a jet engine driving a large fan. Most of the engine's thrust is produced by the fan driving air past the jet core. This is called bypass thrust. When using reverse thrust in these engines, that bypass air is directed forward through doors. The other two types are used mostly with turbojet engines. That's a jet engine without any extra fans for thrust. This engine type is usually used for fighters. The clamshell type closes two doors together to block the engine's thrust and direct it forward through doors. The "bucket" type is similiar to clamshell operation, but uses two, three, or four plates pivoted to meet behind the engine, again blocking the thrust and driving it forward.     In some propeller driven aircraft, the same effect is produced by reversing the angle of the propellers.
