  1. The expansion bay is for a HDD, it was put there in case it would need to be utulised by games but wanst widelyused in the end.

    Only 1 or 2 games use the HDD.

    The USB ports are for peripherals, like eye toy cameras, Singstar mics and so on.

    They can also be used to charge devices like our PSP, mobile phone, ipod etc.


  2. The Expansion Bay,(Only on the old PS2's)

    -Were for an HDD for a couple of games.

    -And a network adapter for Online play.

    The USB Ports are for PS2 accessories:

    -Mics

    -Eye toy

    -USB keyboard

    ect.

    The USB can also be used for System Link with the PSP(Only on some games)
