  1. Loading dyes are used for the visualization of DNA during Agarose Gel Electrophoresis (during DNA migration).
    In addition, it contains a dense chemical called Ficoll that increases the density of the DNA sample so it will sink into the wells in the agarose gel (some sort of fixation).
