What are the uses of GWBASIC programming language ?

Can i do with it cool stuff ? what can i do with it and what its limits ? is it a good language to start with ? will it give me an idea about other languages like java and c++ ?

GWBASIC is BASIC programming language. I am not sure if there is any company still use it. It is old language when MS-DOS still the king.

Learning a programming language gives you idea of how program logic work. If you just learning GWBASIC don't waste your time. Pick other language such as Java (open source and free) or Microsoft VB or C# . Java and C# have almost similar syntax.
