  1. None that I know of... except to grow the plant.

    .

It is the fronds or "leaves" of the plant that are usually used for all sorts of things.

    .

To use this plant one needs to cut off a frond (or leaf) and instantly place it in a bowl so as not to lose any of the liquid that will ooze freely from it.

    .

For burns or sunburns, cut a leaf, peel it, and hold the white flesh on the burn for as long as necessary. Make a mash of the peeled flesh to spread on sunburn.

You can use it as a hair preparation...just take the mashed flesh and it's liquid, coat the hair, cover with a plastic cap for 15 minutes or so, then rinse thoroughly. Using it regularly leaves the hair feeling great.

Aloe Vera can be used as a skin lotion, but needs to be mixed with another lotion to mask it's scent.

    .

These are just a few of it's many uses. If you google "aloe vera uses" you will find many sites on-line addressing this subject.

  2. when you get a minor burn, scrape, bite, etc. it helps with inflammation (the gel-type juice)

  3. Leaves have so much medicinal and grooming uses but roots are making it grow.
