What are the utilitiy bills that you must pay when renting an apartment.?

I know that you must pay rent, but I want to know wht else, like water, and gas. I haven't had any help from anybody until now.

Speak with the property manger or leasing agent. They can tell you what is or is not included in the rent.

A general list could be:

Electricity

Water/Sewage

Trash Pick up (can appear with water/sewage)

Gas (only if you have gas appliances)

Cable/Dish

It really varies on the apartment you rent. For example, if you have to pay all utilities, you would have to pay gas/energy and water, plus your phone bill or cable bill.

If you are blessed, you may find an apartment that offers "all bills paid", which means you are only responsible for the monthly rent.

Depends on the lease.  Most of the time you will pay phone and electric.  Sometimes, the landlord will pay water/sewage/trash.

I have had an apartment where I didn't have to pay electric.  It just all depends on the lease.
