  1. It depends on how many people you have on a team.  You can play 2's 3's 4's 5's or 6's.

Might want to try this page

    http://www.usavolleyball.org/

    or

    http://volleyball.about.com/od/rules1/

In training camp you can learn to tune your skills or learn different offense and defense formations.  A person's position may change depending on the offense or defense you are running, especially with 6's.

  2. POSITIONS: LEFT FRONT MIDDLE FRONT LEFT BACK MIDDLE BACK AND RIGHT BACK

iN cAMP YOU CAN TEACH PASSING SERVING SPIKINE SETTING AND SEVERAL EMERGENCIES TECHNIQUES

  3. There are various positions in the game of volleyball! There are always two of everything, in this case, they are oposites; Two blockers, two setters, and 2 hitters!! They also have libreros...they dig all backrow! Some teams have a set up 5-1, where they only have one setter and more hitters...others have 4-2 where they have two setters and less hitters...if you need more information just e-mail me back and i can answer pretty much anything you have to ask...

  4. Lets make this easy

There are 2 games Indoors and outdoors.

    Outdoors is easy.

2 positions Left side and Right Side.

    This is pretty Self explanitory

in 6 man there are a bunch of different positions

Setter, Middle, Outside, Opposite, Libero, Designated Server, and Defensive Specialist

Setter.: Second person to touch the ball and main aspect is to set other front and back row hitters.  Also is kinda like the qb and run's all the plays

Outsides:  This is your left side hitter.  They are usually decent passers and main focus is getting the set from there outside.  This is the most generic position.  (everyone is an outside)

Opposite:  This is the tall goofy left handed person diagonal from the setter.  This is your main hitter and is hitting always from the right side

Libero: This is a person who subs in the back row (doesnt count as a sub) and is able to just play D.  2 rules thou.  They can not hit above the plane of the new and can not set a front person while in the front row.

Defensive Specialist:  This is a person if you already have a libero that subs in for a front row player for just passing or D.  This person plays just like an outside and is counted as a sub and is just like a normal player (they are playing back row only thou)

Designated Server:  This is your serveing specialist.  You sub him in just to serve for someone to try to get a load of points.  This person is just like everyone else but his art is just to server and gets aces.  (usually a very good jump server) and usually gets subbed out once there is a side out.

  5. Setter, Oposite, Middle Front, Middle Back, Outside Hitter, Outside back!

The outside back, oposite, and middle back pass to the setter!

The setter sets the ball to the middle front, outside hitter, and sometimes the oposite!

  6. positions: setter, outside hitter/blocker, middle hitter/blocker, and back hitter/blocker,server, passers.....

what you could learn at a training camp: how to set, back row attacks, jump serve, floater serves, passing techinques, teamwork, different drills, agilities, spiking skills

  7. The positions for volleyball are setter, outside hitter, opposite hitter, middle blocker, and libero.

The setter is the person who touches the ball second and tries to have either his outside hitter, middle blocker or opposite hitter spike the ball.

The outside hitter is usually lined up on the left side of the court and usually handle a majority of the passing of serves.

The middle hitter is usually lined up in the front middle of the court and usually is one of your best blockers.

The opposite hitter is usually lined up on the right side of the court when the setter is in the back row.

The libero is your defensive specialist who is usually substituted in for the middle hitters.

In most camps they go over improving some of the fundamental techniques of volleyball.  Serving, spiking, bumping (also known as passing), defense and setting.  Also a lot of camps will teach you some good drills to improving your physical ability.

  8. outside hitter. middle blocker. right side hitter. setter. libero. and right back
