What are the warmest months in Costa Rica (San Jose)?

Question

I want to go to San Jose for a month (to study Spanish). I like hot weather a lot, so I would like to know what are the warmest (even hottest) months of the year in San Jose?

Historically, the warmest months are April and May.  Although, being just 10 degrees from the equator the temperature variations during the year  in Costa Rica, particularly in San Jose, are not that extreme.

Considering data from 1975 to 2000, the average daily maximum in April is 28 degrees Celsius,  and the average maximum for the coolest month (January) is 26 C.

For most Costa Rican, the rain is much more of a factor.

Note to GoT3x...   your answer applies only to some countries in the Northern hemisphere.  In Argentina, for example, July and August are the coldest months (and are in the middle of winter)
