Nice question, I am myself a part of a team who organises events in Office (besides being a Software engg. ;) )

You can organize quizzes, fun events like small games, competitions etc, Celebrate b;days by Cake-cutting n all. This will definitely help people know each other, and create a fun-environment in office.

But, this all should be done with no compromise to work :)

the best way to enjoy at office is always use abusive language whenver ur mangager speaks to u. with this hopefully ur manager will kick u out office. but dont worry ur manager will have good time and fun.

The work place isfor working and you are not paid for fun..........but outside the officeyou could start a sports club or ahikers club i think
