Beside using CCleaner, you should backup important data to DVD/R in case Norton transmit another faulty patches down live update and you get the BSOD.

I like to keep my junk files to a minimum, so I suggest using either CCleaner or ATF Cleaner to clear them out.

Basically,using your anti-virus to clean up unwanted files and protect your computer from any virus or spyware is enough to clean your computer. However, I would also suggest that you can use the Disk Clean up feature of Windows to ensure that you will not have any unwanted files on your PC. to use that, click START on the lower left portion of your screen, then select ALL PROGRAMS, click ACCESSORIES, click SYSTEM TOOLS and lastly click DISK CLEAN UP. Once the tool scanned your computer for any unwanted files, place a check mark on these types: DOWNLOADED PROGRAMS FILES, TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES, OFFICE SET UP FILES, TEMPORARY FILES, and WEB CLIENT/PUBLISHER TEMPORARY FILES. Click the OK button on the lower portion and then click the YES button.
