  1. Not alot since we never caused it

However with our combined powers *dun dun* we can build a space fleet to tow the earth away from the sun =D

Global cooling sounds pretty good to the AGW advocates I bet lol

  2. Nothing.

No one knows the cause of global warming. It most likely is a short term contrary trend in a long-term global cooling cycle.

Reduce the use of fossil fuels; there are a billion valid reasons to do so. Global warming has not been proven to be one.

"The scientific debate is over" is something that no scientist would say, but a politician would. The real debate is about the Kyoto Protocols, of course. The framers of the protocols stated that the purpose was to level the international economic playing field by transferring enormous amounts of weath from Western capitalist democracies to other countries. Carbon emission measurements are merely the vehicle used to determine how much wealth the U.S., Japan, Australia and Western Europe must transfer to such shining lights as China, Iran, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, North Korea, etc.

Please reduce the use of fossil fuels. But don't get caught up in the global warming hysteria. It's about politics, not science.

I'm old enough to remember the global cooling scare. Scientists were clammoring for money to study the issue. Politicians were screaming that "you people" (anybody who didn't agree with the politicians) are destroying the earth!

I'm old enough to remember the anti-nuclear hysteria. The hysterics and politicians shut down the building of nuclear power plants in the U.S., requiring us to build an incredible number of coal-fired plants. Which are dumping carbon into the atmosphere. These hysterics intellectual descendants now claim that the evil power plant operators are destroying the earth.

    Give me a break.

  3. There's no need for action.  It was all a false alarm.

  4. Unfortunately, the reality is that unless you can somehow will considerable power over others there's not *much* an individual can do to affect Global warming. As far as prevention goes, there is nothing which could be done about or should be done about it, this is the Earth's time to get warm, in fact past time. This is what has happened for hundreds of millions of years, and it looks like we're going to have to cope!

However we can do what we can to try and limit how much we speed up that warming, and as far as other species are concerned I would argue we have an obligation to not just limit our impact on them during this process, but to help them when we can and when appropriate.

That being said, we should all do what we can. We are all responsible for our individual space on this planet.

  5. reclyle as much as possible for example paper an some kinds of plastic you can easly find out what things an types of plastic are reclylebal by looking on the internet if you type in reclyling on google it will come up with all the answers you need to what things are recyleabl. another way is to save power this helps because the way power is made it has an effect on the enviroment so the less power you use i great thing to do is  join the free website www.treepeople.co.nz its a great way to help the enviroment an gives you ideas of how to save power an the evniroment . and last but not lest use reuseable shopping bags if you can their way better for the enviroment.

  6. Here are some ways to prevent it:

    1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (Ever notice reduce comes first?)

    2. Walk/bike instead of driving a car(If the place your going to is just near, then just walk or use a bike.)

    3. Choose recycled products

    4. Plant more trees.

    5. Buy local products

    6. Patronize and support renewable energy resources

    7. Use fuel-efficient cars

    8. Avoid over cooling rooms

    9. Clean/replace air conditioner filters.

    10. Use environment-friendly appliances

    11.Turn off cars while waiting

    12. Plan trips to save gas

    13. Use compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL)

    14. Go Vegan. Probably one of the greatest positive impacts an individual can have on the environment as meat production in more energy intensive, and creates massive amounts of methane (20x's more powerful than CO2), as well as takes us to 16 pounds of grain to make one pound of beef).

    15. Promote Awareness: We can't do this alone

    16. Compost: Saves loads on trash and I need not by fertilizers which are often petroleum based. I also save on having buy and to ship in extra dirt

  7. become the president. lol

  8. Well we need everyone to buy large air conditioners, say 5 per household, and turn them to maximum cooling. Then open all the windows and start global cooling. That's called People Power!!

  9. Global warming is a crock!

It doesn't exist as a result of pollution, etc. The earth goes through weather cycles (with deviations too) as it has for billions of years.

Don't worry about global warming! It doesn't affect you.

Global warming is something the media feeds off for news because they're not insightful enough to find good news stories.

Seriously, don't worry about a melting glacier or ice cap - they'll be back in a few thousand years.
