  1. Do not lie

  2. Plead the 5th amendment and get a lawyer

  3. I think the other answerers are missing the point.  As I interpret the question, the asker wants to know how to prevent someone else from committing perjury.  There is no easy way, but thorough discovery and investigation beforehand will usually bring out the relevant facts and permit the opposing party to impeach any improper testimony.

And oh by the way, I am not aware of any jurisdiction that permits the use of a polygraph examination, either to prove the truth or to prove the falsity of a person's testimony.

  4. Truth and nothing but the truth so help you God!

  5. p**p

  6. There is a thermal imaging device that measures the temperature of certain parts of a person's head so that when they lie, the readings indicate an increase of heat.

  7. Don't say anything, unless it walks and talks like the truth

  8. Don't Lie :) If you can't do that then don't say anything ( it is your Right to remain silent )

  9. When asked a question answer the sentence "I think yes" or "I think it was not her" or "No, I don't think so". Never answer just plain yes or no or a definitive answer. That way if you are caught you can say that is how you thought or believed at the time, but now you think otherwise.

  10. don't lie

  11. tell the truth; it's that simple.

  12. evidence, reason, personal emotion, consult your lawyer and work like a team.
