NO. Smoking tobacco does not lead onto hard drugs. There are certain types of people who smoke as well as doing drugs but it is not because of tobacco.

The ways to stop using drugs is to say no? unless you mean the medical drugs prescribed to you, then you would check with your doctor and wean yourself off if this was safe to do so..And people say smokers lead to drugs?? ummmm was the person high or whatever when telling you this lol

Well, the first thing that you should do is choose your friends that you hang-out with. Having good friends whose always willing to listen and talk to you with your problems will lessen the probability that you'll take on drugs. Your friends will also help you know yourself more and eventually all of you will discover your life's meanings. Along with your good friends, you can avoid smoking and drugs. Be more conscious of your health too.
