  4. The teachings of the Buddha are the most enlightened I've read.

    Over 2 Millenniums the Holy Scriptures have been the law for billions of human beings practicing and obeying the law.

  12. My opinion couldn't possibly assert that any work or set of works is "more wise" than any other. I could say that I find the works of Georg Hegel to be both wise and highly influential to my personal attitude to the world (probably more so than any other written text or spoken word I've yet encountered), but I couldn't comparatively quantify the wisdom to be found in his or any other work, and even were that possible, I would not have complete knowledge of all other possible contenders. I'd certainly nominate him in a contest, though.

  13. I have to give that credit to Jesus. If we all truly loved one another and loved God, there would be no greed, no need for killing, no power hungry warmongers.
