I am fortunate to be able to travel to Salvador, Bahia Brazil for Carnival in 2008 and was just wondering what the women were like there physically and character wise? I know this is a general question, but each place is different culturally. Any insightful feedback is greatly appreciated.

  1. Culture may be diff. but as far as looks and attitude toward things they are the same as every where else. You have the good the bad and the ugly in all countries.

  2. If you are looking for a good Carnival in a land of breathtakingly beautiful women, go to Barranquilla Colombia.

  3. Most of them are black. But in Salvador's carnival there are people from all over Brazil and even the world, so most the people you will know in Salvador's carnival will not be from Salvador.

  4. I was recently in Brazil, both Salvador and Rio.  I can tell you that Brazil has two different types of women...there is the wonderfully warm and gracious Bahian women I met in Salvador - strong and black who kept the African traditions alive and well for more than a hundred years.  And then there are the whores in both Salvador and Rio - many of them are desperate and dependent upon foreign men and their money because they come from very poor and hopeless situations.

I was in the countryside of Salvador de Bahia and all I saw were shacks and poor black people.  My guide told me that Brazil does not have many opportunities for advancement of the poor and that educational opportunities are only available for those who can afford it.  As a result, a lot of poor and young Brazilian women resort to prostitution as a means of advancement.  If you are planning to go to Brazil (especially Salvador or Rio) to take part in its notorious s*x trade (or know someone who might do so)...be aware that it won't be that easy. The hotel staff vigilantly watch the entrances and exits of their properties making it virtually impossible for non-hotel guests to spend the night in someone's room.  There will probably be plenty of women coming on to men in the area looking for a good time and most of those women are moving from one man or men as soon as the others leave.  If you get caught soliciting women, the police are most likely corrupt and will trump up charges so as to assess a substantial fine on a tourist.  Brazil is trying to crack down on the human trafficking of prosititutes and the exploitation of women and children in the s*x trade there (so, consider yourself forewarned).

All in all, I enjoyed my stay in Brazil but felt really sorry for the women there.  They are in a really desperate situation and sometimes, desperate women do desperate things.

  5. You going find women from all over brasil, e you wil not have time to wondering about enything but party, have good time, drink some beer and all the women you look  pretty, heheheh
