I'd say the Knicks have quite a few of them. Zach Randolph for one.

  1. Kenyon Martin's contract is really bad, but he has only two years left on his deal and by next year, he'll be a valuable trade commodity.

I'd say that Gilbert Arenas getting $111 million is absolutely horrible considering that he's a borderline franchise player. The team still made the playoffs last year and he only played 13 games and the Wizards record is almost identical whether he's in the lineup or not.

Rashard Lewis signing for $115 million is another bad contract considering he was only the 3rd best player on his team last year and the Magic may not be able to resign Turkoglu as a result.

I wouldn't consider players who are in the last year or two of their contracts untradable, because they'll get alot less when they get a new contract anyway.

  2. Yes, and Marbury.  Add Curry to that mix too.

shaq, stevie franchise, and Michael Finley are bad too.

I'm not sure if Finley's contract ran out this year, but he was the second highest paid player last season, behind only KG.

  3. Marbury, shaq, Larrry Hughes, Ben wallace, Mark blount, Kenny Thomas, Randolpgh, Eddy Curry, Marko Jaric, Kwame Brown, Darko Milic, antoine walker, ppl from the Knicks, Timberolwves, and Grizzlies

  4. definitely Joe Johnson.

  5. whoever said stephon marbury has a 59 million 3 year contract is wrong. this will be his final year...which is about 21 million i think...  so that makes his contract an expiring contract which is very tradeable. a lot of teams out there want expiring contracts...as long as they can trade away long term contracts.

  6. K-I updated for 08 season for the guys below.

Nene -- 4 years, $43.1m----Nothing and always injured

    Quentin Richardson -- 2Yr $18.8Mil-----No D, only shoots 3s

    Steve Francis -- 1Yr $17.2----Nothing left

Stephon Marbury --1Yr $21.9M-----Bad system Is tradeable but NY will have to take on other bad contracts to further inflate their books for more years so it does not make sense for a trade unless they could give him away which no team could do acept Grizzlies and they won't

    Zach Randolph -- 3yr 48Mil$---Contributes but no D

    Worst though is Martin

Kenyon Martin -- 3Yr $47.2Mil----16$M per year for a guy who avr 6.5RBs and 12.5Pts. Plus he has a bad attitude and multiple injuries. Den couldnt even give him away for free

Edit: Darius Miles has to be added to the list getting $9mil per year through end of 2010

-Josh...K Martin is signed though 2010/11 makes $16,545,454 that year, so he has 3years left, and what makes you think he is valuable in any way? Throw in multiple knee surgeries since joining the Nuggets and K-Mart's refusal to develop a mid-range jumper (even though every decent power forward in history including Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Kevin McHale and even Horace Grant had one), and you have the most overpaid / untradeable player in the NBA. And with Isiah Thomas no longer running an NBA franchise, K-Mart is going nowhere. There were moments during 2007-08 when it appeared as though Martin had had his humble pie and was just appreciative to be back on the court. But after eight seasons in the NBA, you are what you are. And in K-Mart's case, you're a 13.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, undersized, injury-prone power forward with no offensive game to speak of other than an occasional thunderous dunk. And to top it all off, Martin is known as being a locker room cancer.

  7. u cant include contracts with only one year left because those are great for bad teams clearin cap space so someone wpuld trade for them

  8. erick dampier (mavs), kenny thomas (sac kings) Zach randolph (knicks) although he is alot better than the previous mentioned.

  9. Half of the Knicks team

Hey remember John Kontact  (not sure about spelling)He was the biggest overpaid stiff in the history of the league.Hawks started this mess.

  10. Larry Hughes and Ben Wallace... Hughes is a 6th man at best and is getting paid more next year than any other Bull. Wallace is even worse, lol he's actually making more than Lebron James! The Bulls definitely made a huge mistake when they gave him that S****y contract.
