  1. Actually, Belfast is NOT a bad place.  I highly recommend the whole of Northern Ireland.  Belfast has amazing places such as Belfast Castle, Cave Hill, Ulster Museum, etc.  It is a safe city, albeit a bit hectic w at present with the construction going on on the roads.  I don't know of a place so bad in Ireland that I would warn people of it.  Limerick is not even that bad.  I used to travel there alone all the time.

  2. That's a matter of opinion really.

I don't care about museums and historic sites so they would be the worst for me.

    = )

  3. Well it's said that the best thing to come out of Leitrim was the road to Dublin. haha!!!!

But I went there last summer and it's actually a really nice place!!

  4. Leitrim is not a kip. It has a name for not having anything in it but it has beautiful scenery - it aint called Lovely Leitrim for no reason! Donegal is beautiful, Belfast is lovely in the city centre, some parts aren't but its getting there.  Northern Ireland is lovely.  Em Dublin City Centre isn't great, Bray is rough, Bundoran is fairly rough as well.  Alot of border towns can be quite rough

  5. No where really apart from some dodgy housing estates in the big cities (dublin, cork, limerick etc). Dont mind that fella talkin about belfast being that bad, alots changed in the last 10 or so years, belfast is a great place, but dont go spewing politics apart from that the place is class.

  6. Can i just say WTF Brain?!?

"I've heard from my bro-in-law that Belfast is pretty bad--like an armed camp. And outsiders are definitely not welcome."

what the h**l? i live in Belfast and its so not like that at all.

Belfast is lovely, and it has a massive store called Victoria square and castle court. depends where you go ill give you that, east Belfast isn't the nicest but the city's nice, so don't label all Belfast as like a " armed camp" when its really not. If you go you will see that.

the worst place id say would be, co. Clare nothing to do :/

  7. Bundoran is only rough because of all the people form northern ireland who come accross , spend nothing , cause trouble and leave,

Clara in county offaly is the most depressing town, as tommie tiernan said, "something died in offaly and its called hope".

Clara, where the shop signs have not been renovated since the 60`s.

  8. All of it !!

  9. Edenderry county offaly

  10. First of deburca98, go **** yourself you total ****.

    Now to your question

The are really no Areas on the Island that you can't visit with maybe the exception of some dangerous part of the Citys (The same as anyother city).

While your here I recommend seeing a Gaelic Match, getting a tour around Dublin and Belfast and visting one of the small costal town on the West that still only speak Irish.

    Happy Tramping.

    Ps. **** You deburca98.

  11. leitrim-it's a kip

    longford-it's quite boring

    limerick-crime ridden

  12. I've heard from my bro-in-law that Belfast is pretty bad--like an armed camp. And outsiders are definately not welcome. Try the countryside, and the southern towns. My ancestral country is mostly a beautiful land with lots of beautiful and friendly people. When I flew over Ireland, I never saw so many shades of green in my life. Don't let anyone discourage you from visiting. I look forward to going there before too long.
