What are them small pigs called?

ever since i seen the film 'uptown girls' there was a small pig that is the size as a piglet - but it isnt a piglet, there is a name for them but i cant remember can you help?

They are called Pot bellied pigs like the first answer said.Who ever gave them a thumbs down doesn't know much about pigs.

About 5 years ago I read an article that told of a genetically altered pet pig that would remain small.

Maybe search the net for altered pigs or something.

Pennywell Miniature pig

They were bred by farmer Chris Murray and crossed away from any connecting bloodline.  They began as a mix/breed of Iron Age pigs and wild boar as well as old English breeds such as Berkshire, Gloucestershire Old Spot, Middle White and Tamworths.  The top cross is Kune Kune.

There is currently a waiting list of more than two years from people all over the world who want a Pennywell Miniature pig as a pet. Each is sold for a minimum of £250 and are kept as indoor house pets. There has been celebrity interest as well – Jonathan Ross has bought two.
