Question:

What are these? Rice and Fish Japanese "snacks", not sushi.?

I love these things, they are rice "patties" with smoked salmon in the middle rolled in sesame seeds, I have seen the Japanese eat these "rice snacks" and I have to know what they are called. I love them. Some also come with nori. They kind of remind me of Sushi but they are much bigger. I found them in the 7-11. I wish I could attach a picture.....

  1. it's onigiri.it's rice balls with fish in the middle with nori and sesame seeds and can sometimes be molded into cute shapes
