I'm quiet new in the crystal department but have acquiered a small collection. I thought I'd remember which crystals were which once at home, but I not sure anymore...

If you know a little about crystals, I'd be very thankful if you could take a look at some of these pictures (or all :-)) and tell me what you think they are.

Thank you soooo much.

  1. To the above post..this is the ALTERNATIVE health section, which would include stones/crystals.  If you didn't have an answer you should not have bothered to post!

There are a lot of stones listed..maybe check out this site to see if it helps..

  2. this section is for health questions, not rock identification, suggest you do your own research and google your rocks.

  3. You have a number of tumbled composite stones, and a number of tumbled agates. Number 16 and 17 are both Amethyst. 13 is a beautiful green quartz. The composite stones like 1 and 18 and the four large stones in #2 are composites with quartz  as evidenced by the clear sections within. #2 - the small stone on the left looks like a red jasper- a very dense stone. #3 looks like anthracite, tho I can't be sure with out feeling whether it's light or heavy. #4 is a quartz crystal with other minerals mixed in it. #5 is also a quartz, but with a dark mineral coating it. #6 is a composite. #7 ?  #8 could be anthracite - again depending on it's weight. Anthracite is very light. #9 is a peach-colored quartz crystal. #10 looks like a composite of quartz and serpentine and something else. I don't know how much you paid for these - a few of them are nice little stones, but what counts is how they feel TO YOU. That's what crystals are all about. They resonate with energy the same  way you do. The ones that feel good or are especially pretty to you are the ones that will give to you. Hold them and feel them- one at a time. See how you feel when you hold them. That will tell you if they are right for you. Sometimes the stones are meant to come to you for a short period,  then move on to someplace else. Others are meant to stay with you for a while.
