  1. I don't recognise the cylinder head, but on Suzuki Bandits that would be the Pulsed Air Intake, where clean air is passed into the exhaust manifold to help ensure the exhaust gases burn cleanly, reducing emissions to help comply with whatever tree-hugging regulations are in place.

  2. Those would be round holes

  3. Come out of these holes at 90 degrees with a 4mm line and

hook this up to a reserve NOS bottle mounted on the rear fender.  Will improve your hole shot potential.

  4. Year, make and model would have been helpfull.

  5. Looks like the EGR ports.

  6. He got Exhaust gas return ports you should have a line with 4 fittings that will mount there

  7. I dont think those do anything on a GSXR1000.

Their "PAIR" system injects into a different place

Those holes didn't appear till '05

They're curious,,,it LOOKS like Suzuki changed the casting in preparation for a change of that system to  more like "Hayabusa Style" ---thru the front/exterior of the head.

But as of '08,,,the 1000's are still routing it down thru the top of the Cylinder Head and ported thru right behind the exh valve guide into the Exh port pocket area.

And the  curious holes are just "blank bosses"

  8. possably carb ballance/vacume gaudge holes?

  9. something to do with smog
