What are these little biting bugs here in southern Indiana and what will kill them?

Dexter the biting bugs, are most likely clover mites.  I would a very weak solution of Malathion because it kill the mites and will break down quickly with the sunlight.

I don't know what they are, but use Absorbine Jr.  It is a muscle relaxer basically, and it smells so bad the bugs will stay away.  Bug spray won't work for me on them, and the local police said they will be around for 1 to 2 more weeks.
