What are these markings on my trumpet?

I recently got a new trumpet- it has light specks on the horn that are lighter than the whole trumpet. It's silverplated, if that counts for anything. Can they be removed?

its just the way the silver is...

you might have gotten a poorly made trumpet...

try polishing the horn to see if they are removed
