Question:

What are these nodules in potted vegetables' soil? Will it effect the tomato+basil plants? Are still edible?

The nodules look are white and very hard. They are connected to each other almost like a mini honey comb, like a beehive, but in the soil and no bees are present. They don't breakup with force of water. What is it? I've never seen this before.

  1. they are nematodes,,, no you shouldn't eat them,,, they are like oarasites in the root system and usually its best to get rid of them,,,there are some good nematodes but i don't think these are the ones,,,,,google the word and read about it...
