What are these terms in my computer stress program?

I downloaded this program to test which part of my pc is damaged.

The terms that they say when they do the test is...

QuickSort

Whetstone

Fibonacci

Prime Test

Cache Test

Peripheral Test

When I ran this program, my computer crashed but I have no idea which part did it. I have no CD drive so I cant run a boot memory check so I can't tell. But what do those terms mean in the program? I need to make sure if my RAM is really at fault here

probably not the memory if you got to "peripheral test" - the ones before that were memory tests.

run it again, and watch carefully to see if it says what peripheral it is testing before it crashes. check the options to see if it writes the results to a file.

what makes you think something is broken in hardware instead of software, such as drivers or malware problems anyway?
