What are these white spots on my face?

I have these white spots that are noticeable only during the summer on my face and a spot on my chest. My dermatologist said it was something that all kids get so don't worry about it. Is this true? My has white spots and what ever he does all these creams, they don't work for him. Could this be me having vitilogo?

No it's actually a skin fungus.  Try washing your face or skin with a medicated soap like. Aveeno, African Black Soap, Aloe Vera Soap, Neutrogena you can even try just a regular antibacterial soap.  Good Luck.  Try applying tea tree oil to the spots.
