What are they Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Socail Needs of Children with Asthma? It's a school thing

Physical - suit the excercise to the child. Some asthmatics will get too tired if they push themselves too hard physically. Also if they are going to do anything physical they need to have their puffer. Most people have it before an activity but they should have access to it during as well as they may need it then.

Intellectual - I'm not sure if there are any real intellectual needs. Something that will affect intellectual development though is that if a child has an asthma attack which leads to them not breathing - if they are not breathing for long enough they may get brain damage.

Social/emotional - may feel left out if they cannot keep up with the other students due to asthma, may also be embarrased that they need to have medication to continue functioning.
