  1. You people are delusional, there is no alternative fuel that will even come close to replacing fossil fuels and there will not be one in the next 20 years, oil is it, weather you like it or not. Even the great obama cannot invent a new fuel source.

The USA has plenty of oil we just need to get it, but since Bill Clinton signed the Wildlife Reserve Act, 85% of Americas oil is off limits. So you reap what you sow, you people voted for enviromental politicians and now we all pay the price.

  2. bo, I wish you luck and I know that even if all gas is used up, you'll still get to drive because there are other possible solutions, just not on a large enough nationwide scale yet, but it should be soon.

If you want to burn rubber in your Camaro, find that old, cheap reliable one but only have it as your secondary car because gas has gotten really expensive.

    Good luck.

BTW "Curtis", I hope you're d**n wrong. If not, then people's intelligence to make a difference for the future is hopeless.

  3. Well there are few options coming up. Recently I read an article on Digg which said that it is a good thing that gas prices in the US are going up so that people will start to do research on alternative fuels. There have been few suggestions. One of them is like build dynamos to the breaks, so whenever you hit the breaks, whatever the heat produced will be stored as energy (not exactly that, but something like it). Then there is also hydrogen energy, as far as I understand, the problem is in generating hydrogen. But recently there has been a lot of talk about generating hydrogen from breaking down water. This is pretty controversial and I'm still trying to find the proper science behind this. There was a pretty good explanation of the science behind this technology on http://www.water4gas-scam.com If anybody knows another source that talks about the science of this thing please post it here. Cheers!

  4. the US has to do something soon!  cars can be made more fuel efficient.  Obama can chane things when he becomes President!
