In class we watched the National Geographic film, "The Human Footprint" and the amazing show really got me curious! [If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching it!] What are ways I, as a teenager, can reduce my carbon footprint? What are things I can do to reduce, reuse, and recycle? Thanks in advance!

  1. just wear smaller shoes.

  2. Try to start a recycling program in your neigborhood and at your school. I learned about my carbon footprint too. I'm only in 6th grade though =P Anyways, you could take public transportation more or carpool. You could hang up your clothes for them to dry instead of putting them in the dryer. Put in fewer big loads of laundry instead of a lot of smaller ones. Try to take a colder shower and when you're cold, just wear thicker clothing or wear more clothing. Try to replace the lightbulbs in your house with flourescent lightbulbs, and besides, they're cheaper =] There's a lot of ways you can reduce your carbon footprint. You just need to find the way(s) that work for you =]

  3. become a vegetarian

ride a bike to and from school

stop watching t.v. or playing video games

    start a garden

  4. 1st off...GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

  5. As a teenager you can reduce your footprint by not wasting papers, by recycling them, by planting more trees, and by being aware what will happen if there is no tree. so thats it i hope this helps you.
