  1. I wonder how many people who had to leave their homes are actually spending their time on yahoo answers.....

  2. I doubt anyone stayed

  3. i highly doubt anyone is still there

i mean...anyone sane that is....wouldn't they have learned from Katrina?!

  4. I haven't lived in New Orleans since a few months before Katrina.  However, I can assure you that there will always be people who do not evacuate.  Gustav was not as bad as it could have been since it was a Category 2 when it made landfall.  Also the eye of the storm, which is the worst part of the storm, went SW of the city.  What could have been disastrous was avoided.  Thank Heavens!  New Orleans is the home of my soul, and I hope to move back soon.

  5. bad but cud be wears.

  6. You do realise, don't you, that 75 people were killed in the Caribbean by Gustav???

Compare that to zero deaths in the US.

  7. It wasn't even that bad. The biggest problem is just electricity being out. Crime wasn't NEAR as bad as it was with Katrina.

  8. they are wet

but not as bad as several years ago
