  1. Hanging out on Sundays (when we don't have 4 day weekends), all of the happenings in your hometown.

  2. my bf would say his kids,me,s*x,beer, sleeping in late,ac,hugs, kisses, his family, seeing his kids grow up.....

  3. Home Cooking and the friends and family you grew up with.

  4. Probably being able to go wherever you want on the weekends. The Army requires you to complete a leave/pass form if it's over a certain mileage. It seems like an inconvenience but it's for accountability.

Another thing is probably having to come in on a Saturday or Sunday even though you've already worked a full week. But it's the Army...not the Boy Scouts or any civilian 8AM-4PM job.

  5. FREEDOM....

  6. family,good food,and friends

  7. Sleep, decent food, sleep, privacy, sleep, TV, sleep, private bathrooms, sleep, etc.

Did you just join and you want to know about basic and army life?  If you would like to hear my opinions just contact me...

  8. It is the little stuff that you don't realize are gone until much later. Taking a simple bath was one thing I remember as being a fleeting dream. There are a hundred little things that you do each day now that you could not do in the military. They creep up on your recollector over time.

  9. Sleeping in.

  10. not being responsible
