What are thoes little red spider or bugs that you can barely see with the human eye?

I was scootering and i sat down and there were like 10 little red spiders i could barely see them with my eye. what are they called

Those are chiggers, and they will bite and cause a very itchy rash. Stay away from them.

They aren't chiggers, they are called spider mites. Chiggers are actually even smaller!

when I was a kid i'd see them on bricks by the hundreds o_o we used to call em brick eaters ;p
