Whenever I go to my laundromat I often find a thin piece of tissue in the clothes dryer. I know people buy these sheets which have names like "Bounce," etc. What are they for and how do they work? Should I consider using them? Thanks.

  1. They are fabric softer dryer sheets and they work to help make your laundry smell fresh. All you do is pop a sheet in teh dryer while your clothes are still wet and wahhlah your clothes smell good.

  2. They are supposed to help reduce static in your laundry.  You can also buy scented ones that will leave your laundry smelling nice.

Do you need them???  Well, it's all a matter of preference.  Some people are very concerned with the chemicals that are in dryer sheets and choose not to use them.  A damp cloth thrown in at the end of the dryer cycle will help reduce static as well, so you could try that.

    Good Luck with the Laundry.

  3. They are fabric softener sheets. They are intended to soften clothes, reduce static cling, and often are scented to leave a "fresh" scent in your laundry. Using them is personal preference. Some people prefer a liquid softener, while others prefer natural alternatives, such as adding white vinegar to the final rinse cycle, or adding either borax, baking soda, or washing soda to the wash cycle to soften water and clothes.

  4. These sheets are fabric softners.  Actually takes the place of

liquid fabric softners.  I still use the liquid, but with these sheets

people may use them becuase they may have missed the

second rinse.  You can also use these for dusting after the

    smell wears out.
